The next chapter

This year we have had 18 children leave us to start the next chapter in their learning journey, we wish each and everyone of them a fun, happy and safe journey as they navigate their way through school.

I’m sure you will all agree that these two look very smart, modelling  their new uniform.

Spider fun

We have been looking  at different bugs and their homes, this week he have looked at where spiders live, we have weaved our own web and made some tasty spider inspired treats which we enjoyed at snack time.

Kiddycare Cove

As part of our “around the world” theme we asked the children what they would like to learn about, some of the responses included: beaches, aeroplanes and holidays.

We listened to the children and have created our own beach “Kiddycare Cove”

Today we have observed lots of turn taking and  sharing and heard lots of conversation.  The children have had the sensory experience of sand and water on their toes, they have made different size sandcastles and they have practised putting their own shoes on.

Haggis

On Tuesday we will be serving haggis with neeps and tatties for lunch.

If your child has any tartan it would be nice if they can wear it on Tuesday.
